Fundraiser: Supporting the Dedicated UAV R&D Workshop of the K2 Brigade – Request from the Unit Chief

On the front line, technological solutions are needed non-stop, and the Dedicated UAV R&D Workshop of the K2 Brigade cannot afford to waste time waiting for long-term component deliveries

Currently, the basic items for the engineering hub’s operations are supplied on a planned schedule. However, the speed of task execution directly depends on the availability of technical “small things” – consumables, supporting components, and devices that are used daily and require constant replenishment.

Why is this fundraiser needed right now?
Administrative procedures, official approvals, and large-scale planned procurements always take time. But the front line doesn’t wait for paperwork. As the Chief of the Dedicated R&D Workshop of the K2 Brigade emphasizes, when a critical request arrives from a unit, the engineers must get to work immediately, without losing precious days on bureaucratic approvals for every single detail.

This is exactly why our Foundation is launching a fundraising campaign to ensure the uninterrupted, continuous operation of this R&D workshop.

What this will provide for the defenders of Ukraine:

  • Instant Start 24/7:
With a constant stock of essential consumables and auxiliary supplies in the warehouse, the workshop is capable of taking on any urgent task the very minute a request is received from combat crews or adjacent units.
  • Elimination of Technical Pauses:
Downtime in the workflow caused by a shortage of small parts is completely eliminated. Replacements, upgrades, or repairs happen immediately, rather than weeks after bureaucratic clearances are finalized.
  • Flexibility for Custom and Non-Standard Requests: The specific nature of the tasks faced by the workshop’s engineers is so dynamic that certain technical items are difficult to predict in advance. The assignments can be highly non-standard, making it simply impossible to foresee exactly which component will be needed tomorrow. Nevertheless, the workshop must be ready to start working as quickly as possible.

This fundraiser provides exactly that freedom of action: engineers gain the ability to promptly purchase and adapt specific materials for individual front-line needs “here and now,” responding to new enemy threats without any delays to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the UAV workshop.

Below is the basic list of standard and predictable items that the workshop needs daily and which form the foundation of this fundraiser.
However, the main strength of this fundraiser lies in its ability to instantly go beyond this list whenever an emergency task or the need to meet a custom request from combat groups demands it.
On the battlefield, nothing is secondary. Reliable technical supply for the workshop means tasks are executed on time at the front lines.

Honesty, transparency, and zero bureaucracy:

Our Foundation operates without spending funds on staff salaries, boosted posts, or marketing with “valuable prize” giveaways.
Every hryvnia must work for the front line, not for process administration.
All operational management is handled entirely by a single person on a volunteer basis.

Every hryvnia and every cent of your donation goes directly toward the cause:
– To purchase technical items and materials for the workshop.
– To pay for Nova Poshta delivery of these components.
– To cover mandatory banking commissions of payment systems.
Not a single penny goes to waste. Only pure efficiency and support for the front lines.
